Kia Canada Achieves Record-Breaking Sales in 2024
Toronto, ON – January 6, 2025 – Kia Canada celebrates its 25th anniversary with another record-setting year, achieving its highest-ever annual sales of 86,657 units, surpassing 2023’s record of 84,768 units with a 2.2% growth.
Kia’s SUV lineup remained a key driver of success, with the Seltos leading at 18,706 units, followed by Sportage (15,423) and Sorento (9,646).
The brand’s electric vehicle sales skyrocketed, with 6,671 EV6, 4,502 EV9, and 4,458 Niro EV units sold, marking a 98.2% year-over-year increase. Hybrid and plug-in hybrid models, led by the Sportage PHEV, also saw strong demand, with a 31.5% increase, contributing to 25% of total sales in 2024—a 73.6% YoY growth.
