Notable design elements include Kia's signature vertical Star-Map DRLs, the latest safety features, and the addition of the adventurous X-Pro trim for this 3-row SUV. Now available for order at Kia dealerships nationwide.

A Striking Exterior Redesign

Significant design enhancements at the front end of the 2024 Sorento create an upscale SUV image and a more robust presence. The three-dimensional radiator grille and Kia's next-generation Star-Map DRLs, inspired by constellations, emphasize the rugged yet sophisticated design. The confident stance is achieved through Kia's "Opposites United" design ethos, incorporating innovative elements from the 2024 EV9.

The rear of the 2024 Kia Sorento features refreshed design elements, including vertical tail lamps with the Star-Map lighting, providing a confident and modern feel. A wide and technical rear skid plate adds to the SUV's rugged appeal.

New exterior color options, such as Jungle Green and Road Rider Brown, are now available. The X-Pro trim introduces increased towing capacity, an exclusive front and rear skid plate, bridge-type roof rack, and unique 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires.

Building on the success of the 2024 EV9, the 2024 Sorento adopts Kia's next-generation Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) operating system. The ccNC system processes information faster and with higher fidelity, featuring frequently used Quick Controls accessible with a swipe on the screen. Additionally, the new Sorento is equipped for over-the-air (OTA) updates, enhancing convenience features. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard on all trims.

The 2024 Sorento introduces Kia's Digital Key 2.0, enabling customers to lock, unlock, and drive their vehicle using compatible Apple and Samsung devices.

Comprehensive Safety Features

The 2024 Kia Sorento comes equipped with an array of advanced safety features, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2 (FCA2), upgraded to detect pedestrians and cyclists. Other standard features in the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems suite include Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) and Lane Following Assist (LFA).

New additions to safety and convenience features include Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA2) with automatic lane change, a Digital Camera center Mirror, and Surround-View Monitor (SVM) with Parking Distance Warning, providing a 360-degree view during reversing and parking scenarios.

Consistent Performance

Maintaining balanced ride and performance, the 2024 Kia Sorento offers a 2.5-liter GDI engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission on the LX trim. The EX, X-Line, X-Line Limited, and X-Pro trims feature a 2.5-liter Turbocharged GDI engine with an 8-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (DCT), producing 281 horsepower and 311 lb.-ft. of torque. The X-line and X-Pro trims boast increased ground clearance and an enhanced towing capacity of up to 4,500 lbs.

The 2024 Kia Sorento is now in production and available for ordering at dealerships across Canada, with a debut at the Montreal International Auto Show from Jan 19th to 28th, 2024.
