The EV6 ushers in a new and transformative age in electric vehicle design, one in which capacity meets comfort, vast highways beckon, and premium technology makes driving simple.

The all-new Kia EV6 has been named the 2022 Car of the Year in the prestigious European Car of the Year (COTY) awards. The innovative all-electric crossover was voted the overall winner by a 61-strong jury consisting of highly respected motoring journalists from 23 European countries.

The Kia EV6 was initially considered for the top award among over sixty other models set to debut in 2021. The COTY judges narrowed the longlist to a seven-strong shortlist in November, six of which were electric vehicles (EVs), illustrating the growing relevance of EVs to customers as society transitions to a new mobility future.

"It's a fantastic honour to have won the 2022 European Car of the Year with the EV6, the first ever Kia to win this prestigious accolade," said Jason Jeong, President of Kia Europe. The EV6 is a true game-changer, built from the ground up to make electric mobility entertaining, convenient, and accessible by combining a huge real-world driving range, ultra-fast charging capabilities, and a roomy interior.
